The Project Management Professional examination about to change in 2011
30% of the PMP Exam will change significantly in 2011 due to a new Role Delineation Study from Project Management Institute (PMI). PMI conducts a Role Delineation Study (RDS) every five to seven years, to determine the role, responsibilities and duties of today’s project managers. The findings are then used to update the Project Management Professional (PMP) Exam. This ensures that PMI’s PMP Exam is a reflection of what project managers actually apply when working in this field. PMI completed their latest study at the end of 2010. The findings will lead to an update in the PMP Exam on 31 August 2011.
